Accessibility Statement
Aiming to make humband.org usable by every visitor, no exceptions.
Last updated: June 2026
Hume Health Corp is committed to humband.org and the Hume Health app being usable by everyone, including people who navigate with assistive technology. Below is a look at where our efforts currently stand and how to report something that isn't functioning correctly.
The Standard We Hold Ourselves To
Our target across humband.org is WCAG 2.1, Level AA. In real terms, that includes things such as:
- Alt text that meaningfully describes images carrying real content, rather than filler on purely decorative ones.
- Contrast between text and background that holds up across the whole site.
- Menus, forms, and interactive pieces — the mobile nav and FAQ accordions included — that function entirely via keyboard.
- Structured HTML and ARIA labeling, so screen readers correctly announce headings, buttons, and page sections.
- Layouts that stay intact when someone increases text size or zooms into the browser.
Work That Continues
This isn't something we treat as finished — the site keeps changing, and our accessibility efforts adjust alongside it. Run into a barrier anywhere on humband.org or in the app? We genuinely want to know so we can address it.
Flagging An Accessibility Problem
If assistive technology causes trouble anywhere on our site or app, tell us. It helps if your message includes:
- Which page or app screen was affected
- A short explanation of what went wrong
- What assistive technology, browser, or device was in use
We respond to accessibility feedback promptly, prioritizing anything that keeps someone from browsing, researching, or ordering the product.
Third-Party Elements
Some sections of humband.org — checkout is one example — are built through outside services. We partner with vendors who care about accessibility, though we can't fully control how their own components are designed. Come across a problem in one of those areas regardless? Let us know and we'll work with the vendor or find another route for you.
