These Terms outline the conditions for using humband.org and the Hume Health mobile app (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Hume Health Corp. Placing an order, setting up an account, or otherwise using the Services means you accept the conditions described here.

1. Eligibility To Purchase

Ordering from humband.org or registering a Hume Health account requires being 18 or older, or having reached legal adulthood in your jurisdiction. The Services aren't designed for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

2. Order Processing

Submitting an order counts as your offer to buy a Hume Band, plus any extras such as the extended warranty, at the listed price. We may decline or cancel an order under specific circumstances — suspected fraud, a pricing error, or limited stock — with any payment collected refunded in full.

Prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise and may change without prior notice, though a change never applies retroactively to an order you've already placed.

3. Shipping and Return Terms

Detailed shipping timeframes and the return procedure appear on our Refund & Returns page, which is incorporated into these Terms.

4. Health-Related Disclaimer

The Hume Band is a consumer wellness product built to help you understand general lifestyle and health patterns. It is not a medical device, and it's not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Figures such as biological age, metabolic momentum, and illness indicators are wellness estimates derived from sensor data and proprietary algorithms — not a substitute for guidance from a licensed healthcare provider.

Talk to a doctor before acting on any medical decision, and seek urgent care for a serious concern regardless of what the app happens to display.

5. Account Security

You're responsible for anything that occurs under your Hume Health login, so keep your credentials protected. If you notice unusual account activity, let us know right away.

6. Restrictions On Use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Hume Band's hardware or software in ways that break applicable law, use the Services to infringe on anyone's rights, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Ownership Of Brand and Content

"Hume Band," "Hume Health," and related branding belong to Hume Health Corp. The device's design, the app, and the content on this site are protected under copyright and intellectual property law, meaning reproduction without our permission isn't allowed.

8. Warranty Scope and Liability

Apart from the specific warranty outlined in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services are offered without further guarantee, to the extent permitted by law. Hume Health Corp isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to using the product or Services, to whatever degree that limitation is legally allowed.

9. Amendments To These Terms

These Terms may be revised occasionally. Any update is reflected in a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after a revision means the new version is what applies going forward.

10. Which Laws Govern This

These Terms fall under the consumer and commercial laws applicable wherever Hume Health Corp is based, independent of conflict-of-law considerations.
